Job Description
- Designs, develops, installs, and supports computer hardware and software systems.
- Provides project management services on directly assigned projects.
- Provides training in software development and computer systems concepts, practices, and procedures to other Software Developers.
- Interfaces with customers during the design and implementation of projects.
- Assists in the development of quotations and functional specifications.
- May be required to work independently or as a member of a project team.
- Develops and maintains good customer relations.
- Reports to the Manager of Software Development.
Required Qualifications
- Requires a bachelor’s degree in computer science or a technical discipline, or an associates degree in computer science or a technical discipline with a minimum of 2 years of job-related experience.
- Experience with computer system design and implementation concepts, practices, and procedures. Experience with software development and implementation concepts, practices, and procedures.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, Access, Teams)
- Experience with Microsoft SQL Server.
- Experience with Microsoft Visual Studio and .NET Framework (C# and/or VB.NET).
- Experience with Microsoft Web Development Suite (ASP.NET, HTML, CSS, Javascript)
- Experience with a SCADA development suite (Rockwell FactoryTalk View SE, Inductive Automation Ignition, Wonderware InTouch, GE iFix)

Panel Designer
Job Description
- Provides project management services on directly assigned projects.
- Designs and troubleshoots industrial control panels, including: selection and sizing of electrical components to meet regulations and customer requirements, panel layout, heat and cooling analysis, and CAD drawings.
- Interfaces with customers during the quotation, design and implementation phases of projects.
- Develops quotations for control systems and panels.
- Reports to the Manager of the Panel Shop and Service.
Required Qualifications
- Requires an associates degree in an engineering or technical discipline and a minimum of 2 years of job related experience, or a minimum of 4 years of job related experience.
- Experience with programmable controllers, motor/motor controllers, electronic sensors and instrumentation.
- Experience reading P&ID (process and instrumentation diagram) drawings and electrical schematics.
- Experience with Microsoft Office applications and AutoCAD.
- Knowledge of industrial safety standards, regulations and practices (includes CE, UL and NEC standards).
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently.

Required Qualifications

- Must have a solid working knowledge of electricity.
- Must be able to read controls schematics.
- Must be able to safely operate power and hand tools.
- Must be able to lift 80 pounds.
